Environmental Philosophy

Hero Electric Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “HERO”) recognizes that the long-term protection of the global environment is one of the most critical issues facing the international community. To fulfill our corporate social responsibility, we aim to harmonize our business activities with both the global environment and local communities. Through active communication with stakeholders, we strive to understand societal expectations and promote initiatives toward the realization of a sustainable society.

Environmental Policy

1. In conducting our business activities, we comply with international environmental laws and regulations, voluntary standards, and agreements with stakeholders.
2. We are committed to preventing environmental pollution and conserving the natural environment as we continue our business operations.
3. When manufacturing and selling our products, we consider the environmental impact throughout the entire product lifecycle—from raw material procurement to production, distribution, use, and disposal—while striving for energy and resource conservation and avoiding the use of hazardous substances.
4. To improve our environmental performance, we establish specific objectives and targets for the following key areas, and pursue continuous improvement based on internal audit results and other evaluations:
   1. Removal of harmful substances that impact the environment.
   2. Improvement of production yield.
   3. Reduction of delivery costs.
5. This policy is communicated to all personnel working at HERO and is also made publicly available to external stakeholders.
